Floors being cleaned at the end of a lease

We guarantee our cleaning, which is the part we control. If your property manager flags any cleaning item at the exit inspection, tell us within 72 hours and we return and re-clean it free. What we cannot guarantee is the rest of your bond — deductions for damage, unpaid rent, gardening or rubbish removal are outside a cleaner's control. Any company promising your whole bond back regardless is overpromising.

Most properties take between five and ten hours, and we usually send a team so it is done in one day. A one-bedroom unit may be closer to five; a large family home that has been lived in for years takes longer. We will give you a realistic time with the quote so you can plan your handover.

It is quoted separately, because it needs different equipment and drying time. Many leases specifically require professional carpet cleaning with a receipt, so tell us when you book and we will arrange it alongside the clean — you get both done on the same day and one point of contact.

We spot-clean marks, scuffs and fingerprints from walls, and clean skirting boards, door frames and switches thoroughly. Full wall washing is a bigger job that we quote separately. Note that genuine damage — holes, deep scratches, or paint that lifts when cleaned — is a repair, not a cleaning issue, and we will point it out rather than make it worse.

It works best empty, because we can reach inside every cupboard, behind every appliance and across every floor without working around furniture. If some items are still there we will clean around them, but anything we cannot access cannot be guaranteed at inspection. Let us know what will still be in the property when you book.

No. Most clients arrange key or lockbox access and collect the keys afterwards. Every cleaner is police-cleared and insured. We will send you the completion photos when we are done, so you can see the condition without being on site.
